An in-depth examination of the thought processes leading to the decision to abort an unborn child and its implications for crisis counseling. Written for counselors and scholars, this book explores the history of abortion and its many effects, from the individual mother to society as a whole. Focusing on the ever-changing justifications for ending an unborn child's life, Dr. Ross lays down a foundation of historical and theological ethics for juxtaposition that allows crisis counselors to properly frame the mother's decision and the real consequences that may result.
