"Finding purpose from your pain. Searching the corridors of one's soul to find the treasure of truth-the gold soul. Yearning to be whole by the standard of serenity, by God's holy divinity. Can we be healed from our past pains, or do we remain the same? Pain expresses the places within that we cannot escape until we face the darkest realm of our own self. Join Lindsy Lou Cummings on her personal journey of facing pain and finding her voice. To God be all the glory!" -Rebecca L. King Being trapped in the mind, a constant battle, is an exhausting place to be. Trauma has a way of changing us completely, from our thought processes to how we see ourselves, down to even our health, where our body's start to turn on us. This book is about how five traumatic events in my life changed me and how I see the world. The events that brought me to see a new perspective and how I overcame and have been slowly finding healing and peace through forgiveness and letting go of a past I can not change. I have learned He is my true north and all that I need, and I know I will find a way to love myself again. Take this journey with me as I chart new territories and draw the maps that lead my soul to His arms, where there is peace and healing.
Autorenporträt
My name is Lindsy Lou Cummings, and I have been married to the love of my life, Robby Cummings, for twenty-eight years. We have four beautiful children, Brianna, Ethan, Malaki, and Isaiah Cummings, and two grandchildren, Ireland and Dakota. I worked as a registered nurse for twelve years until I had to retire due to chronic illness. Our life's mission as a family is to teach people the love of the Father and that forgiveness is possible; our lives are a picture of that. You can forgive and love again; just let God do what only He can do; surrender, and He will show you the way, healing you from the inside out.
