Susan George is an American children's book author from Fairfax, Virginia. Her first book, Chris, the Tiny-Tailed Tiger, is based on a story her husband wrote in 1992 when he was in second grade. Now that she is a mother, Susan decided there was no better time to honor her husband and take his work to a new level by adding her unique flair. Writing began as a hobby, thanks to the COVID-19 quarantine, but the deeper she got into creating the story, the more determined she became to finish the book and gift it to her daughter, Riley. Filled with motherly love, Susan took a step away from her daytime job as a tax accountant to make her family happy by creating a book that will be enjoyed by many for years to come.
