Chris Wheeler (born August 9, 1945 in Egg Harbor Township, NJ) is an announcer and color commentator for the Philadelphia Phillies in Major League Baseball. Nicknamed "Wheels", Wheeler has been broadcasting for the Phillies on TV and radio since 1977. In 1971, he entered the Phillies organization as Assistant Director of Publicity and Public Relations. He was added to the broadcast team in 1977. Chris attended Marple Newtown High School in Pennsylvania.
