Olo is een systematisch theoloog met belangstelling voor Afrikaanse theologie, sociale transformatie en ontwikkeling. Hij heeft een doctorale graad en een Master in theologie van de Faculteit Theologie van de Universiteit van Stellenbosch SA, Barchelor of Divinity van het Theologisch College van Noord-Nigeria, Diploma in Religieuze Studies van de Universiteit van Calabar.
