Shea Hopkins is an elementary school reading specialist and former elementary school teacher. She holds a B.A. in English from Christopher Newport University and a M.A. in teaching. Her storyline inspirations stem from events from her own childhood as well as ideas she thinks will resonate with her students and her own children. She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, son, and daughter. Christmas Crash is her first book.
