M. Wayne Clark is an author and storyteller who has written for and shared stories with children, adults, and families. His career expands through years of parish ministry as a pastor and doing individual, marriage, and family counseling as a therapist. Along his journey, he has been an executive director of several Samaritan Counseling Centers and has presented regionally and nationally to professional organizations covering spiritual, therapeutic, and medical disciplines.Wayne is the author of six books written especially for children, young adults, and the young at heart who are willing to laugh out loud, let a tear flow freely, and reflect deeply upon the words they read. His collection of work includes: Christmas in Stories, A Boy on the Farm, Potato Christmas, For Sam's Sake, and The Give Away.Wayne has also written numerous articles for professional magazines, including two international journals, on pastoral counseling in medical genetics, the Human Genome and family systems, grief, trauma, professional ethics, and humor.Wayne and his wife, Susan, have a daughter, a son-in-law, and an adult son. Wayne and his wife reside in Ankeny, Iowa.
