Autorenporträt
It wasn't until Jan Lynne Anderson won an eight-week writing course in a raffle, that she began to write. Having not written for pleasure since college, it only took one week and two short essays to ignite the writing fire. Stories stored up for decades just kept tumbling out. She has been a prolific writer of memoir ever since. "Chuckie and the Lima Beans" is a family story that begged to be written down and embellished. Jan's four-year old grandson, Ronan, enamored by the tale, was the impetus for her to record this fun part of family history. A registered nurse, former business owner, mother of three and grandmother to four, Jan lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, with her husband, Chuck-the original "Chuckie." They are joyfully celebrating 40 years of marriage this year with the publication of "Chuckie and the Lima Beans."
