It also describes the goals and actions of the audiologist during the first connection and during subsequent fittings of the speech processor. The "Memo" is written on the basis of 15 years of experience with more than one thousand implanted patients and their parents with the aim that parents, audiologists and teachers, after reading the "Memo", began to better understand each other and the problem of cochlear implantation in general. The MIMIC demo-program was created for the same purpose. On the topic of "Memo", the authors have published dozens of articles, inventions and presentations. The co-author of the "Memo" has a medal from the Ministry of Education for the high scientific quality of the master's thesis. To confirm the validity of the "Memo" to a doubting scientific employees, all its provisions, arguments and conclusions are supported by articles and patents.
