This textbook may help to boost student performance in science and research and was selected for inclusion in the 13th Five-Year planning teaching materials for regular higher education in China.

MAO Jiansu, Associate Professor, Ph.D Supervisor. Industrial Ecologist. Graduated from Northeastern University in 2003 as a Ph. D in Industrial Ecology. Owner of Henry Luce Foundation "Industrial Ecology in Asia" in 2005. She has been a post-doctoral associate and Research Fellow at Center of Industrial Ecology in 2005 and 2007, School of Forest & Environmental Studies, Yale University, USA, mainly focus on material anthropogenic flows, which are the core contents in Circular Economy. Research fields including Industrial Ecology, Ecological Economics, Urban Eco-planning, Source Management of Pollutants. Teaching courses Industrial Ecology for international graduates and Circular Economy and Sustainable Development Enterprises and Introduction of Environmental Science for undergraduates. She takes charge of or joined in around 10 items of research programs. She has published more than 60 academic papers and participated in compiling of 4 books.
