We detected a higher level of serum IGFBP-5 in Non metastatic breast cancer patients rather than metastatic patients, this result was statistically significant. We concluded that IGFBP-5 plays role in breast cancer as proapoptotic, antiangiogenic protein and can suppress angiogenesis and metastasis in breast cancer patients.
