Prarthana Borthakur, geboren im Bezirk Dibrugarh in Assam, Indien. Sie machte ihren Master in Bibliotheks- und Informationswissenschaft an der Universität Dibrugarh. Sie arbeitete etwa 1 Jahr lang als Bibliotheksassistentin im Institute of Tai Studies and Research, Moranhat, Sivasagar, Assam. Zurzeit arbeitet sie im Don Bosco College, Golaghat, Assam.
