Paola Lizbeth Montoya López est titulaire d'un doctorat en éducation, obtenu dans le cadre d'un programme relevant du PNPC de CONACYT. Elle est chargée de cours à la faculté des sciences de l'éducation de l'université autonome de Sinaloa, au Mexique. Ses recherches portent sur des sujets tels que l'éthique de la profession d'enseignant et l'éducation à la citoyenneté dans les écoles.
