We studied the city and society in Venezuela, in Caracas, from the twentieth century, when the processes of rapid urbanization took place. Phenomenologies of urbanization were physical, social, economic, political and cultural character with specific phenomena necessary to interpellate to examine, know and extract the information that reveals the modes of production and reproduction of particular urban habitat; which can be taken into consideration for the formulation of new paradigms towards the transformation of the city. This work bets to be an epistemic-theoretical-methodological instrument of investigation towards a dialectical understanding of the city. It seeks to detect and analyze the logic generated by management entities in the social production of the social space of urban habitat; as well as the agents and actors in the processes of application of methods and models for the morphological materialization of urban objects. In addition, build a framework of categories of analysis, methods and models of physical and non-physical management to be applied in the city, which contribute to the action of various entities in urban planning, urban design and architecture.
