Cindira's running out of time. Time to find her father. Time to save the Prince from her step-mother's trap. Time to unravel the secrets of The Kingdom. The VR program her mother created before her death builds castles, breathes life into dragons, and makes the fairy tale platform not only possible, but highly profitable. But The Kingdom has also made Cindira a servant, cleaning up messy lines of code and writing new ones to satisfy the selfish whims of her step-sister. At least Cindira can take pride in maintaining her mother's legacy. That is, until she discovers that someone may be trying to destroy it. It's up to her to find out who before it's too late. Is there enough time? Maybe, but midnight is coming soon. The Cinderella Matrix is an urban fantasy twist on the classic Cinderella tale with a splash of cyberpunk from the author of the Red Hood Chronicles, Kendrai Meeks. Jack into City of Cinders now and start the adventure.
Autorenporträt
Kendrai Meeks was deported from the American Midwest after graduating college, but finally negotiated a pardon and returned to it after two decades in California. She really hates sarcasm. She first published in 2011, and has since put out nine books in romance and science fiction. In 2017, she decided to return to her first love, urban fantasy. She has been a featured speaker on a number of conference and industry panels on topics ranging from Fanfiction, to Audiobooks, to Serialized Fiction. She is a world music devotee and loves to travel (just hates to fly - a conflict, for certain). She enjoys twisting the extant into the exceptional, often basing her work on historical themes or legendary folk tales and mythology.
