In 2016, my PhD journey took a diasporic turn when I explored my supervisor's family migration. This sparked a broader view of Indian experiences as diasporic sensibilities. Embracing Translation Studies, I examined my life through its lens. Teaching across India shaped me into a proficient communicator and learner. This anthology, a collaboration with Amity Institute of English Studies students, delves into diasporic themes, revealing diverse interpretations that resonate with shifting notions of city, space, and identity. The lucid language and relatable themes connect with common experiences. As both a teacher and editor, this anthology's success is attributed to my students' creativity and my teacher's guidance. I hope it strengthens their creative endeavours.
