In the education sector, teachers, parents, and students are key resources for the success of schools. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of civic education in school and university settings in the city of Goma. Its problematic focuses on the main question of how to ensure the effectiveness of civic education in schools and universities in the DRC. The study population was composed of educational partners. We used a methodology based on content analysis with a focus on thematic analysis following horizontal and vertical approaches. The results reveal that civic education has been the source of several pedagogical communication challenges in the teaching-learning process.
