Walter Gellhorn was Professor of Law at Columbia University and served as advisor and attorney on a number of New York State and Federal Government boards; acted as special assistant to the secretary of the interior and was chairman of the National War Labor Board. Curtis Bok was President Judge of the Court of Common Pleas, No. 6, Philadelphia; vice-president and director of The Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. James P. Baxter, III was President of Williams College and winner of the 1947 Pulitzer Prize in History; formerly President of the Association of American Colleges.
