Allie Davis has loved reading and writing stories since she was old enough to hold a book and a pencil. When a 2nd-grade teacher and members of her family began encouraging her to follow her passion to write, she started dreamed of being an author someday. Clara and the Constellations, her debut book for children, and the new book in the series, Clara and the Constellations Play Kickball, are only the beginning of her plans to write stories that fascinate, educate and entertain children. A native of Abilene, Texas, Allie graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Journalism then swiftly moved to the Nashville, Tenn., area to marry her true love, Eric. They continue to reside a little bit outside of Nashville on a mini farm with their two daughters. When she's not writing or reading, Allie can usually be found soaking up sunshine with family or friends, carting her kids to all the places, traveling, singing, or walking the family's dogs, Ruby and Tucker.
