Autorenporträt
Karen Karper Fredette spent thirty years in a Poor Clare Monastery and six years as a hermit. She has authored four books, including Where God Begins to Be: A Woman’s Journey into Solitude, and Consider the Ravens: On Contemporary Hermit Life. Married in 1996, she continues her writing career on a secluded mountainside in North Carolina.
