Judith Coleman Flowers, a local historian, is one of the founders and initial president of the Clarksdale Heritage Foundation. She has served as the special projects coordinator for the Coahoma County Tourism Commission and has freely given of her time in genealogical research in exchange for donations to the Carnegie Public Library of Clarksdale and Coahoma County. Images contained in this work are from the extensive collection of the public library, the Library of Congress, and the private collections of proud local families.
