Autorenporträt
Gustin D. Fox-Smith, AIF, ChFC - Gus has been an avid follower of the financial markets since age 12, when he first learned how to read stock quotes in the newspaper and created his own hypothetical stock portfolio as a hobby. Many days saw him running home from the school bus stop to check quotes and adjust his portfolio values to see if he would have made money had they been real stocks. With investing and finance in his blood, he started in the financial industry earlier than most. In 1991, when he was just 19 years old, he earned his Series 7 and began working as a stockbroker and portfolio manager for a commodities limited partnership prior to opening his own practice in 1992. Gus is the Founder and President of Fox-Smith Wealth Management, a private Asset Management and Financial Planning firm located just outside Denver, Colorado. As part of his comprehensive approach, his firm provides estate planning advice in coordination with each client's preferred legal and tax professionals for those that plan ahead. He also provides estate settlement assistance to families navigating this difficult process. Finding few good resources able to help organize and simplify the planning process for his clients, he created this book and step-by-step guide for them and now makes it available to help you develop your own plan.
