Jeffrey was raised in a household steeped in education and creativity-his mother a dedicated school teacher and his father a talented artist- writing and illustrating children's books feels like a natural extension of Jeff's upbringing. Jeff's artistic process begins with the classic tools of pencil and ink on bristol paper, where each stroke captures the essence of characters and scenes. Once the traditional drawings are inked, he then add the power of technology to add vibrant colors, dynamic text, and meticulous book layouts. This marriage of traditional and digital mediums infuses depth and charm. Writing and illustrating Cliff and Floyd books is very rewarding.
