This will threaten food security and people's livelihoods in most parts of Africa. It is against this background that to be able to adapt to climate variability and change it is essential for development partners to deliver on their commitments to support African countries to adapt to the unavoidable impact of climate change which includes scaling up efforts in order to:Improve and increase access to climate data,Invest and transfer technologies for adaptation in key sectors.
