This study aimed to assess the effect of climate change on cassava crop yield. To do this, the study was based on the point of view of farmers from Irhambi-Katana in South Kivu in the Democratic Republic of Congo. As a result, the results showed that the yield of cassava experienced a considerable drop and that the farmers testified that climate change plays a very important role in the drop in yield despite the hardiness of this crop. The study recommended training farmers on cassava climate-smart farming practices.
