Climate change, natural disasters and agriculture are closely related from the perspective of food security. Present study has tried to show the inter dependencies between climatic factors and factors related with easy access to food in south-west region of Bangladesh. This study also tried to figure out the coastal agricultural patterns and problems with the changes of climate and increasing disaster in Bangladesh. In the study it is observed that south-western part of the country is severely affected by storms and salinity. Most of the people of the study area are related with agricultural activities for their income. Incomes of the people of the study area and related availability of food, water, shelter have been analyzed in this study. Total loss caused by the disaster, positively related with income loss and it makes disaster exposure vulnerability. Finally the study showed that frequent natural disasters are the general cause of climate change. Disasters are the cause for the reduction in income and agricultural productivity and finally reduce their food availability.
