Le professeur Khaled Hassan est un expert international en économie et en démographie. Il est titulaire d'un doctorat en économie. Il est le vice-président de la Société égyptienne pour les études sur la migration. Auparavant, il était conseiller démographique au PNUD-Koweït. Il est l'auteur de nombreuses publications dans les domaines de la population et du développement, de la main-d'¿uvre et des migrations, ainsi que du changement climatique.
