The authors in this work have undertaken to examine & investigate the legal issues of climate change mitigation with special reference to Indian perspective to suggest for a better & holistic climate change mitigation without compromising development. The book concentrate on post Paris scenario relating to climate change mitigation. The work extensively discusses the Indian initiatives relating to climate change mitigation, decarbonization and zero carbon emission. The work lucidly explains the initiatives and paves ways for other nations to follow the formula, as India is the largest populous country being the biggest anthropogenic polluter and at the same time the worst victim of climate change.

Dr. Ashish Kumar Srivastava is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Lucknow. An LL.M. gold medalist from Law School, Banaras Hindu University, he did his Ph.D. from National Law University, Jodhpur. Dr. Srivastava started his career in National Law University, Jodhpur, in 2008. He has several publications to his credit in reputed journals. He delivers lectures in Indian Railways Institute of Transport Management, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Human Resource Development Centre, University of Lucknow, Public Sector Undertakings, Allahabad Bank, Policy Research Institutes, Uttar Pradesh Academy of Administration & Management and various reputed organisations. Dr. Srivastava is the author Property Laws and Law of Partnership & Limited Liability Partnership, Corporate Governance: Emerging Dimensions.
