Dr. Debleena Bhattacharya holds a doctoral degree in Environmental Science from Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad (India). Her research interest mainly focuses on two aspects they are environmental biotechnology and wastewater treatment implemented with advanced technology. At present she is working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Environmental Science and Engineering in Marwadi Education Foundation's Group of Institutes (MEFGI), Gujarat, India. Prior to joining MEFGI, she worked in SRISTI (Society for Research and Initiatives for Sustainable Technologies and Institutions), an NGO based in Ahmedabad, joined as Research Fellow for BIRAC (Biotechnology Industrial Research Assistance Council) and gradually escalated as Project Co-ordinator for BIRAC-SRISTI PMU, a joint venture of Government of India & NGO apart from being the laboratory co-ordinator of SRISTI lab. Surgeon R Admiral V K Singh, VSM (Retd) is Managing Director of InnovatioCuris (IC), Chairman InnovatioCuris Foundation of Healthcare Excellence (ICFHE) a not for profit organization. Adjunct Professor-World Heath Innovation Network, Odette School of Business, University of Windsor, Canada. Honorary Professor- Australian Institute of Health Innovation, Macquarie University, Australia. Visiting professor of Indian Institute of Management, Indian Institute of Technology and others and authored two books 'Innovations in Healthcare Management: Cost Effective and Sustainable Solutions' with National & International authors published by CRC press in USA in 2015 and Special Indian edition in 2017. Book has prestigious Shingo publication award 2018. Another book "Planning and Designing Healthcare Facilities: Lean, Innovative and Evidence Based" is published in Oct 2017 by same publisher. Launched global magazine in healthcare innovation called InnoHEALTH in 2016. Was Consultant of National Disaster Management Authority and has formulated national guidelines for disaster on mass management of casualties. Was Founder Director of International Institute of Health Management & Research and President and is Fellow of Academy of Hospital Administration, Chairman, Health Care Division of Quality Council of India and has trained assessors and set standards for National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare providers (NABH) of India. Was Chairman of Healthcare Committee of Quality Council of India. Consultant in JCI accreditation system and is Assessor of European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). Developed Health specific EFQM model released in India by Union Health Minister in Dec 2010. Had been Lead Assessor of ISO, consultant and trainer in application of Lean principles in Healthcare. Was Director of healthcare Asia of Simpler dealing with Lean healthcare excellence. Member of Telemedicine Society of India and Member of National Public Health Committee of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Planned and executed health/hospital projects by cutting down cost at planning, operations and transformation of health organizations in India and abroad by applying Lean, innovations and evidence-based principles.
