At COP 27, the race was opened to send a man to the moon - we went, looked back and realized that we still have important things to do on Earth when in 50 years there will be 9 billion people living on it, which will put a great strain on the already impoverished natural capital. Moreover, if today's world can be characterized as "a majority that survives and a minority that accumulates and squanders wealth," it is possible that in the next 50 years - if prosperity, wealth creation in the world, and achievement of the MDGs are anticipated in an optimistic perspective - the profit motive will become the dominant driver, with empowerment and business creation replacing the current dependence on aid and philanthropy.
