He is Past President -Asian Society for Pigment Cell Research (2011-2014), Member Scientific Advisory Board: Vitiligo Research Foundation (USA), Chaired/co-chaired, presented invited/guest lectures, papers on vitiligo at more than 120 International conferences/meetings. Editor of Dermatology section of Biomedical Research internation, Associate Editor of Archives of Dermatological Research and Member Editorial Board of International Journal of Dermatology, Dermatologic Therapy. Michael Tirant is Professor of Dermatology at Hanoi Medical University , Hanoi, Vietnam. He is also Annual Teacher of Integrative Dermatology, at University of Rome "G. Marconi", Rome, Italy and Director of Psoriasis Eczema Research Centre , Melbourne , Australia.
