Emily King (1947-2017) loved being a grandma, tending her flower gardens, and serving as Kid's Klub leader at her church in Portland, Oregon. She developed and taught a creative writing course for homeschoolers, and was a contributor to Chicken Soup for the Gardener's Soul and Chicken Soup for the Soul: Christmas Collection.
