Autorenporträt
The poet Sheila Packa is from Minnesota's Iron Range. She has received awards from the Loft McKnight Fellowship, Minnesota State Arts Board, and the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council and has numerous publications. She served as Duluth's Poet Laureate in 2010-2012 and the composer Olli Kortekangas used 3 poems from this book and 1 from her previous book Echo & Lightning to create a cantata premiered by the Minnesota Orchestra in 2016.
