Born and raised in Colombia, Luis Molina Lora obtained a Ph.D. from the University of Ottawa, and is currently a Spanish language instructor. Julio Torres-Recinos is an associate professor of Spanish in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultural Studies at the University of Saskatchewan. Hugh Hazelton is Professor Emeritus of Spanish, Concordia University, and Co-Director, Banff International Literary Translation Centre. He directed the translation of Cloudburst.
