Sue Elias was born in Kuwait the first of eight siblings, fled Kuwait when the Gulf war erupted with her husband and son who was seven months old, lived in Jordan for ten years where she had her second son then immigrated to Canada and worked as a teacher assistant for kids with special needs in the school system. She always created plays and came up with stories from her imagination to keep her siblings engaged and happy, she liked to read fairytales, classics and nicely illustrated kids' books.
