Fernando Lalana Josa (February 24 1958 (64 years) Zaragoza, Spain) is a Spanish writer of children's and juvenile literature. His only profession is that of a writer. He studied law and did military service in the Melilla Regulars, on which he based his novel "You will die in Chafarinas". He has been awarded the main Spanish literary prizes in the field of Children's and Youth Literature, including the National Prize and the Cervantes Chico. He has published more than 150 titles.
