Autorenporträt
Rupendra Guha Majumdar, hailing from Bengal in Eastern India, has taught in the Faculties of English in Delhi University, Delhi and at Suffolk University, Boston. He has thrice received the Fulbright Fellowship in Yale and Suffolk Universities, USA. His first book of poems, Blunderbuss was published in 1971 when he was a post-graduate student. Three more volumes-Apu's Initiation, Tomcat and The Hiroshima Clock- followed over the next twenty years; Coda is his fifth. He is also adept in the arts of painting and sculpture. Based in Delhi, he is engaged in a range of academic and creative pursuits, east and west.
