Code smell refers to the niggardly practices followed by the developers during developing a particular software application which impact the non-functional essentialities such as resource usage, performance and maintainability. Whereas the energy consumption of mobile devices is attracting the attention of many researchers due to increase in the number of mobiles devices sold along with it the colossal quantity of apps being built for ease of use of different mobile application. This project focuses its research on the energy consumption along with memory consumption of different devices with the help of energy profiler component of the android studio. The research studies show the result before and after refactoring of source code, the impact of energy consumption on the application being run in the real time scenario.

The author has been awarded with Young Researcher Award 2023 & a Gold Medal recipient in International Olympiad of Mathematics.
