Liina Viies Zethelius takes the reader on a journey through her days, feelings, and experiences, everything that happened in her life over the course of one year. From this journey emerged a self-analysis in the form of a diary - genuine, profound, brutally honest, and completely naked. So painfully naked that it hurts the reader too. But pain is good because healing comes through pain. You can feel how both the author and the reader are healing as they move forward day by day on this journey, and that is the ultimate purpose and value of this diary. It's easier together because you, dear reader, feel that you are not alone in your worries.Liina's book is about codependency. You can be dependent on anything or anyone, but a codependent is always trapped in the same feelings and struggles: they no longer live for themselves, but for the lives of others, constantly trying to save them, and forgetting their own needs completely.Liina's book is a lifeline for all codependents, and the key is honest self-analysis, noticing your own feelings and behavior patterns. You have to start with yourself, with the goal of getting closer to yourself and trying to understand why I am in a situation where I live with a person in dependency. By analyzing her own feelings and behavior every day, the author comes to important realizations about the influence of her childhood patterns and begins to heal them day by day.The result is a captivating, engaging, and touching story, at times painful and challenging, but always full of hope, brightness, and continuous healing for both the author and the reader. Liina's story clearly shows that you don't have to be alone on this journey, it's better to allow others to help you, because there are always people around you who truly care and support you.-Sirli Taniloo

Autorenporträt
I was born in Rapla, a small city in Estonia and I lived my first 13 years in a small village. As a child, I spent most of my free time outside in the nature and my first years passed so that I was alone a lot. An interesting and exciting world began from it: I began pondering about the behavior of myself and others. I always wanted to have the answer why we as humans behave the way we do and where do our thoughts come from. A great interest in humans as a whole has only grown in me over the years. Since 2004 I¿ve been living in Harnosand, Sweden. I married for the second time, learned Swedish and adjusted to the life here. I found myself great new friends and hobbies, which are dancing and winter swimming. Thanks to winter swimming I¿ve learned to be present, notice the nature even better and I¿ve become much better friends with my body. Nature plays a huge role in my life and without it I couldn¿t even imagine my life. My friends and acquaintances see in me a courageous, optimistic, truth-searching, deep, feminine and open woman with great life-energy. I¿m a person who believes in miracles and that words have tremendous power over our thoughts and feelings. I¿ve learned different professions in my life: secretary, tourism, health counseling, holistic regression therapy and Imago couple therapy. Additionally, I¿ve completed different courses which have supplemented my toolbox in work with people. Above all, I like meta-medicine. Working with people has taught me that giving and receiving in life must be in balance, then everything works. I currently work in my own company "Therapist Liina Viies Zethelius" as holistic regression and couple therapist as well as health counselor. As my final words I¿ll say two wonderful quotes by Eckhart Tolle, both of which have affected me: "Instead of asking life what I want, it¿s even more powerful to ask what life wants from me!" and "Life is a dancer and yoüre a dance."
