Hence, effective management of this disease is of paramount importance in the profitable cultivation of arabica coffee. This book deals with the epidemiology, screening of coffee genotypes for resistance and management of leaf rust to develop suitable, economic and viable disease management practices.

The author completed Ph.D. in Applied Botany at Kuvempu University. Employed as Scientist in the Coffee Board of India and has 30 years of research experience in coffee. Published more than 40 research articles in National and International Scientific Journals and 3 books. Carried out the FAO and CFC-ICO funded multi-country research projects.
