Cognitive behavioral therapy is a type of psychotherapy that is applied in different disorders and problems, in this case it was applied with a girl who has semantic pragmatic language disorder, this disorder is considered as part of the autism spectrum disorders since it has characteristics of this. The objective of this project is to find out how effective is the cognitive behavioral treatment provided to the patient, both in academic learning and behavior and in the benefits in the socio-affective and cognitive areas.The work with the minor was carried out mainly in the school environment, being a therapeutic companion and once a week we worked outside the school classroom reinforcing the deficiencies that were presented and following up the behavioral part in the family context, making recommendations to the parents so that they could continue with the program in the same way as it is done in class, so the minor would modify her inadequate behaviors also outside the school environment.
