Cognitive radio is one of the everlasting radio communication technologies that support effective spectrum usage between various users. Main objective of RRM is to share the available and limited radio spectrum between users efficiently. It includes Dynamic RRM, Static RRM and Inter-cell RRM. Since 2009, numerous meta-heuristic procedures have been reported in the literature, for instance GSO and GWO, which are far better than the traditional GA and PSO. This research adopts these algorithms with novel improvements so that they can handle the RRM problem effectively.
