Frederick A. Colantonio graduated from Columbia College of Chicago, with B.A. Degree in Mass Communications (Radio). He has been a newspaper journalist since 1960 and broadcast journalist since 1970 and covered a variety of sports focusing on baseball and hockey. He has provided up-to-the-minute traffic reports for Chicago radio and his feature stories have been published in Chicago community newspapers. He is the publisher and journalist of The Chicago Sports Journal, covering stories from baseball, hockey and other sectors of sports and compiles in-depth interviews with owners, general managers, athletes and media directors
