Janice Spina is a multi-award-winning author with twenty books ranging from young children's to 18+. She began writing at the age of nine in the form of poetry and greeting cards. She always dreamed about being an author but did not realize her dream until after she retired from an administrative secretarial position in a school system. She loves to tell stories and will continue to create more for all ages. Her goal is to encourage children to read which will hopefully cultivate a love of reading that will carry throughout their lives. Her motto is Reading Gives You Wings to Fly! Janice plans to write several more children's books, a middle-grade series for girls, a young adult fantasy series, and three more novels over the next several years.
