A fast paced thriller with an ending you'll never see coming, Cold Dark Fear is the prequel novella to The Kensington Killers series and can be read as a stand-alone in under four hours. Grab this book before you go to bed -- Prepare to stay up all night to finish it! In Brooklyn's wealthiest zip code, a beat cop responds to a B&E in progress that she expects will be as straightforward as they come. A vacant townhouse. An obvious point of entry. A reliable witness. But when the intruder attacks instead of making a run for it, Officer Danielle Foster has a split second realization: jewelry and silverware aren't the kind of big score he's after, and she'll have to claw her way out of this one if she wants to survive. One bad night, one false move, that's all it takes to get pulled from duty, forced to relinquish badge and gun, a looming psychological evaluation destined to seal her fate. It doesn't take Danny long to understand that like the night gone wrong, nothing about this case is as it seems. Reaching a breaking point of frustration, her anguish turns to anger... and she trades victimhood for vengeance. Now, as she investigates alone and against the warning of the chief of police, the dirty secrets surrounding the case become all too clear, and Danny must risk her career, and life, to expose the face of true deception behind it all.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
