Kate Hadley is a recovering Traffic Warden! Kate, the daughter of an American father and English mother, was born in Reading, Berkshire, England, in 1957. She has had a varied employment history, including being a Traffic Warden for Merseyside Police, when she proudly booked The Stranglers, Ted Rogers (from 3-2-1 Dusty Bin fame), and a bright yellow Rolls Royce to name but a few; Kate draws on her extensive experience working for Future Publishing, where she was promoted to Senior Disk Editor. Writing and designing have always been her passions, and her remarkable style is echoed in the unique books she creates. Kate has three daughters, is Widowed and lives near Bath, England, with her two cats!
