- Champion Grocers Ltd, owned by Jacqueline MUKASHYAKA, a young woman orphan, from a farmer's family made a hard life because she grew up taking care of herself. She was also parenting her sister at a young age and had to work hard to create income to nourish and pay tuition fees for herself and her sister. She decided to manage the farms inherited from her parents by planting organic fruits, grapes and vegetables to be processed in organic wine and pulps with a health impact on the life of the consumers. - To increase the source of raw materials, she organized the women and other trusted farmers in cooperatives that plant the organic fruits, grapes and vegetables then supplied them to the factory of Champion Grocers Ltd to be processed and produce a standardized organic wine and pulps.- The trusted farmers (women and men from cooperatives ) are consistently paid a good price with a premium because they supply organic fruits ,grapes and this this leverages their wellbeing becausebefore this initiative it was hard for them to get other source of income in their community. - Champion Grocers Ltd aims at offering high quality organic wine and Pulps to the customers.
