Education and the educational sectors with their organizations are affected by development tasks because they have to offer and develop educational services in a way that is appropriate for the group. The various educational sectors, schools, in-company training centers, universities, continuing education institutions and adult education institutions must respond to the changes in the education system. Teachers and learners should be able to act successfully. Providing education means offering educational processes as a socially relevant service. This paradigm shift in understanding creates a link between pedagogical and economic concepts. Both rationalities should be balanced and result in contemporary solutions. Reflection is necessary in order to consciously and critically develop design solutions. Proactive education and its implementation ("management") with the addressing of future problems and the development of potential for success are the aim of the efforts. The anthology is divided into five parts: denominational education, sustainable education, educational management (general comments, leadership development), educational sociology and educational reform.
