Other issues such as the impact, intensity and sustainability of teaching and learning at universities (not only in teacher training), the implementation of national and international teacher training concepts, the connection between teacher training and learning outcomes at school or the need to pay more attention to practical aspects of professionalization prove to be essential. The article is intended as a personal examination of one's own work in teacher education.
