Maria Cucurull és llicenciada en Filologia Catalana, ha treballat de correctora a Ràdio i Televisió d¿Andorra, ha estat lectora de català per la Universitat de l¿Havana (Cuba) i des de l¿any 2010 és professora de Llengua i literatura catalanes del Govern d¿Andorra. Actualment, coordina el butlletí setmanal sobre llengua InfoMigjorn.
